Zakat Calculator

Calculate your estimated Zakat obligation in just a few simple steps.

How it Works

  1. 1

    Add your wealth

Cash, gold and silver, investments, and other zakatable assets you have held for a lunar year.

  2. 2

    Subtract debts

Immediate bills and amounts due now. Long-term mortgages are typically not deducted.

  3. 3

    Apply 2.5%

If your net wealth meets the nisab threshold, Zakat is 2.5% of that net amount.

Nisab Rates

Nisab is the minimum wealth that makes Zakat due. You may use the gold or silver standard. Metal prices below are estimates and can be updated in the calculator to match today’s market.

Cash & Bank Savings

Include cash you hold and balances you can spend, plus money you reasonably expect to receive soon. Do not include money you have already given as Zakat.
